Food to Play x Summer Camps 🍎

Our Food Program will continue in the Jr Wolves Summer Camps. Kids will be provided with one Super Snack, one type of Hydration and a food lesson so kids walk away with more nutrition knowledge on why it is important to fuel and hydrate our bodies - especially during play.

Kids in the Free to Play Immersive Summer Camp went boxing this week! They headed over to Avenue Boxing to learn new skills with their leaders and coaches. What a fun day. Thank you to Avenue Boxing for providing this fun, safe space so kids can learn new moves and have fun together.

Hot Foods Class introduced Protein Pancakes! A staple to an athletes diet and simple enough for kids to make at home!

Welcome to Play recently hosted two family engagement days. These days are meant for newcomer families to get to share their stories, learn more about their new homes, and enjoy a day with great company.

Welcome to Play kids and families go golfing at CCT Golf Centre! What a cool experience and so thankful for the CCT team to invite the kiddos to learn this fun sport.

Free Play for Kids has been selected as one of the participating charities in this year’s Roger’sCharity Classic Golf Tournament, presented by Altalink.

Donations directed to a participating charity are matched up to 50% using the Foundation matching pool. All administrative costs are covered by the tournament, meaning 100% of all donations will go directly to the charity selected. You can donate online until August 31.

Our Start to Play athletes have been crushing it at their handball sessions! With each week the pace of play gets faster and faster! This is setting us up to have an incredible handball tournament at the end of the month where all of our community teams come together to showcase their skills. Our coaches can't wait to see who will raise the trophy in our 2nd last tournament of the Start to Play year!
