Food to Play

Providing food classes, take-home food hampers and easy recipes for Free Play kids and families.

Food to Play helps kids learn about food, health, and how to make good choices as they grow. The program teaches everything from the basics of healthy eating to how food can give energy for sports.

Kids move through four stages as they get older:

  • Food for Life – learning simple healthy habits (ages 7–11)

  • Food for Play – making food choices that support growth and activity (ages 11–13)

  • Food to Train – learning how to fuel the body for sport and training (ages 13–15)

  • Food to Compete – advanced nutrition and recovery for athletes (ages 15–17)

Kids in Free Play will receive:

  • Daily, healthy snacks

  • Weekly food classes with their Head Coaches about the “Super Snack of the Week”

  • Monthly food class with a Food to Play Nutritionist, plus a take-home food hamper

At every level, kids learn about healthy meals, hydration, rest, and wellness in a way that builds lifelong habits.

All the recipes we have made are down below so that Free Play families can find them again, but also so you can try them too!
