We are looking to start a U11 Girls program that will play in a league next Indoor season. The idea is to create that team out of our Free Play family. So if you have a daughter born in 2014 or 2015 and wants to play soccer, reach out to us: support@freeplayforkids.com.

The girls will practice once a week (usually on Monday) at Commonwealth Rec Centre from 4-6pm.

The U15 Wolves have had an incredible start to their season - all wins. They are playing exciting and fun basketball. We can't keep our eyes off them. GO WOLVES GO 🐺

We have the coolest friends at @bravemma.fitness !! They have been providing free MMA classes to Free Play’s Welcome to Play families as a way to introduce them to sport and recreation and make them feel comfortable in their new homes.

The Free to Play Program is back in full swing after spring break and starting Season THREE! The Free to Play kids kicked off April with basketball and handball tournaments and learned about working together and overcoming challenges.

Incoming: BIG moves for the second outdoor ⚽ season for the Wolve. U11 Boys are moving from Community to Club, in collab with Stingers FC. After a gold medal win last Outdoor, U13 Boys will move up from Tier 3B to 3A. The U13 Girls will compete in Community level after building great relationships and experience last indoor season. Lets go WOLVES!!

The Wolves Basketball Program is actively seeking participants for our U13 Girls Spring Club Team. The team will practice twice weekly with our high-level coaches to prepare for competitive tournaments throughout the city. The season runs from April-July, and is a great way to wrap up the school year. All skill levels are welcome. The Welcome to Play program welcomed families from Rwanda, Congo, and Afghanistan! They got to try out a new activity - Skiing! It was an awesome day at the Edmonton Ski Club.

Sierra was in Free to Play last year and now that she is in Grade 7, she came back to share how Free Play has helped her make the school sports teams. She’s playing on the basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams!! Sierra always demonstrated respect, listened attentively, and always tried to help others. She shows us that teamwork and kindness are super important! Great job, Sierra🌟

The Wolves Hockey Pack received fresh jerseys to continue their regular season! With playoffs quickly approaching in March, both teams are locking in for the last push of training to be in competition form for divisional playoffs.

Oodle Noodle challenged the Free to Play kiddos with a coloring contest where the winner's art will be featured on their noodle boxes next year! We love seeing the kiddos get creative and show off their best work.

A big thanks also goes out to the Oilers Entertainment Group for allowing us to take over Ice Districts' Fan Park! Kids got to test their hockey skills against Oiler's Alumni, Chris Joseph and Ladislav Smid!

Last week, several families recently arrived in Edmonton and we invited them to join our Welcome to Play program. The first activity we did together was to make Maple Taffy in the snow!
