‘Parentimonial’: Yuki

Yuki, a proud parent of Shaheryar from the U18 Ice Hockey Wolves Team, shared a heartfelt story that captures the impact of Free to Play programs. She expressed, “Outside of Free Play, they started building community on their own…” These words truly warm our hearts and highlight the program’s lasting influence.

Programs like the Wolves Athletic Club through Free Play for Kids provide opportunities to play sports and foster social and emotional growth through play. They help children develop on and off the ice, court, pitch, or field.

Stories like Shaheryar’s remind us why we do what we do. We love hearing these "parentemonials" that showcase the ripple effects of community, connection, and sport.

Thank you to Yuki, Shaheryar, and all the families who make Free Play a special part of their lives.
