Sponsorship Sales Specialist

Position: Sponsorship Sales Specialist

Location: Free Play for Kids
Reports to: Director of Marketing & Sponsorship

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sponsorship Sales Specialist to help us drive revenue at Free Play for Kids. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, has excellent presentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role is best suited to someone with a strong network and will get out to sell our programs.

You will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Sponsorship and other team members to meet sales goals and increase incoming revenue.

Education & Qualifications:

● 5 years of experience in sales and/or sponsorship
● Excellent public speaker
● Easily connects with clients
● Persistence to secure sales
● Ability to build and nurture relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners
● Knowledge and familiarity with the local business community
● Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
● Basic proficiency in CRM systems for tracking sales and donor engagement
● Familiarity with using Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suites
● Ability to handle multiple leads, tasks and deadlines in a structured and efficient manner
● Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and work

Key Responsibilities:

● Sell sponsorship of Free Play for Kids programs. In a typical year, 150 assets are sold ranging from $1500 to $10,000.
● Work with the marketing team to ensure sponsors are clearly recognized and acknowledged.
● Work with the marketing team to invite sponsors to attend events and programs.
● Continually generate leads via email, calls, visits and presentations.
● Ensure sponsors return season to season and year to year through management of relationships.
● Organize and run small events to encourage sponsorship .

Position Conditions

● This is a full time position with working hours of 9:00AM - 5:00PM daily but requires availability to occasionally shift your schedule to meet the needs of the role; meetings, sales pitches etc., weekend work may be required as well.
● Work hours outside of the occasionally shift
●      This position will require travel and access to a vehicle is highly recommended
